Hotel Siena

A very good hotel!

For $1,500 including taxes, the room didn’t meet my expectations. The floor looked worn and cracked, and the room seemed old and neglected. I stepped on a spider by the window that overlooks the cafeteria when I arrived. We wanted a pleasant place to rest, but this wasn’t it. They could have offered me other options, even if they cost more. We’ve visited Pénjamo several times, and if I have to stay here again, it’ll be a last resort.

This felt like poor value for the money. It may be the most expensive hotel in Pénjamo, but it didn’t meet expectations. The room smelled bad, like dampness mixed with sewage. There were signs warning about penalties for stained linens, smoking, and drinking alcohol inside, yet our white duvet was stained and had what looked like food particles on it. The only good thing was that the staff agreed to change the linens after we told them about the condition. It was noisy too, with employees’ motorcycles arriving at the restaurant and the sound carrying into the rooms.

The cafeteria is always stocked with coffee, tea, water, and cookies for guests. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with a super bathroom. Great hotel, we’ll be back soon.
