Casa Lumini Holbox Hotel

The rooms have a lovely design and feel well thought out, and the breakfast was really tasty. Hector and Marcos at reception were kind and polite, and the staff were friendly in general. It’s a quiet, tranquil place, though a bit away from downtown. You can take a taxi or walk about 15 minutes. There’s a street with nice restaurants and bars around the corner. Punta cocos is close, but take mosquito repellent when you go there.

We liked Casa Lumini Holbox so much that we extended our stay. The staff were warm, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Luis made sure breakfast was very good, and Marco, Hector and Mari were especially helpful and informative. The rooms were really comfortable, and the location worked well for us, close enough to the beaches and not too far from the town centre. We’d happily recommend staying here.

The square is a bit of a walk, but there are good restaurants nearby. The rooms were very nice, the service was good, and breakfast was really good.

The hotel has a luxurious feel, and the staff were friendly and helped us arrange tours. They also advised us against certain tours because of the weather. Breakfast was okay. The location was the main drawback. It’s quite far from the center, and the muddy puddles make walking there impractical, so you need a taxi. A ride cost 200$ pesos. There are only one or two restaurants nearby.
