The property was beautifully designed and very well cared for, especially the plants, which the gardener clearly looks after with a lot of love. The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was good, and our spacious room was very quiet. Everything was within walking distance, and the hotel is right on the beach with sun loungers. I wish the loungers at the front of the beach were free for hotel guests, with a charge only for day visitors. During our stay, those loungers were often empty while hotel guests had to sit farther back, with a less attractive sea view. It gave the impression that paying day visitors were being put first. Using a lounger costs 500 pesos per person, which is generally fine, but less so when you're staying at the hotel and already buying food and drinks. There was also quite a lot of seaweed on the beach, and it smelled unpleasant. Regular cleaning would make the beach look much nicer and more enjoyable.

Everything was simple but well looked after, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Being right on the beach made the location especially convenient, with everything close by and easy to get around. Breakfast was great, room service was fast and reliable, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. I had a very pleasant stay in Puerto and would gladly return or recommend it.

The recent reviews left me a little shaken, but we found this cozy, secluded hotel good value, with nice rooms, friendly staff, and a lovely area right by the beach. It's not expensive, after all. Seaweed is affecting most of the island at the moment, so I don't think it's fair to single out this hotel for it. It's a natural occurrence. Breakfast was perfectly fine, just what you need, and the setting is nice. We're here with our two children, aged 5 and 9, and they love

We had a very disappointing stay. Construction noise from demolition next door went on all day, making it impossible to relax anywhere on the property. I have video of it, and it seems likely to continue for some time. We were traveling with a young child, which made it especially hard. The front desk wasn't helpful. I asked for compensation or another solution, and the request was ignored with no follow-up. I specifically asked if anything could be done to make our stay more pleasant, such as changing rooms, offering a complimentary drink, or some other gesture. No one seemed interested in listening or improving things. Seeing guests, especially families, treated with such disregard was shameful. Children under 2 don't get breakfast. The breakfast was very poor, so we ended up eating outside the hotel. The place failed us on comfort, service, and basic care. I strongly recommend booking somewhere else.

The hotel seems really nice in theory, with a cozy pool bar. But I don't understand why they leave the sargassum on the beach when their neighbors clear theirs. It smells quite bad, and even a little effort would make a big difference. We ended up going to the beach bar at Mystique Beach next door. Maybe just stay there instead.
