The place felt magical to me and was totally worth the money. Its location right on the beach is amazing, and photos don’t capture it. I had an upstairs room, which I think has a better view and more privacy. The ceiling is open like a cabaña, so insects can get in. That didn’t bother me much, but keep it in mind if you’re not a fan of bugs. The downstairs rooms seem to have proper ceilings. There are four rooms, if I remember right, two on each floor. My room had a big bed with a mosquito net, which helped a lot, a fan, cold-water shower, toiletries, and plenty of space to hang clothes. It wasn’t luxurious, but it was comfortable. Towels were provided, and the room was clean as far as it could be. You can lock it with a key, and it felt safe. The shared kitchen has a fridge, two coffee machines, coffee, and filtered water, though it could have been cleaner. Each room has a hammock, table, and chairs on its balcony, and you can see the sunrise if you get up early. Access is from the beach. Wifi didn’t work for me one of my three days, but when it did, it was strong, even from the beach.

The host was kind and helpful, even greeting me late at night and sharing great food recommendations. There are lots of good restaurants and amenities just minutes away. I picked this room as a gift to myself at the start of my visit to Mazunte, and the location was incredible, close to Playa Rinconcillo and the stairs leading to the path to Punta Cometa. The bed was large and comfortable, and the simple bathroom was great for quick cooling showers. I felt secure, and there was water in the kitchen, which was equipped for a lot. I didn’t use it much, but others cooked meals and coffee there. The accommodation next door played loud music early in the day, but I loved the room and location otherwise. I can’t wait to come back. The view and peaceful feel are the main reasons to stay here. You’re only meters from the Pacific, beside a bay calm enough for swimming, with an ocean-view hammock on the balcony. It’s a lovely place to fall asleep and wake up to the surf, and to leave the crazy world behind for a while. There’s no TV, but there is internet if you need it. Shops and lots of restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms aren’t luxurious, but there’s a comfortable bed, shower, and flush toilet, plus a shared kitchen and bottled water. The service was friendly and efficient, and I had no trouble contacting them on WhatsApp.

Basic rooms, but they’ve got what you need, including a balcony hammock. Right on the beach, super quiet at night, and the kitchen is fully equipped for guests to use.
