I spent several relaxing days in this charming little colonial-style hotel on the edge of central Merida. The inner patio is beautifully done, with colorful pillars, arches, a small pool, tropical plants, and exotic trees. On my first day, an air-conditioning failure in my original room meant I was sent to the sister property, Casa Cortes, a few blocks away. There I got a beautiful new room with a balcony. Since my booking included breakfast, which is only served at Casa dos Lirios, I could move between the two places and enjoy their pools. I had a rental car, so getting between the properties and into the center was easy. Juan took good care of my concerns and replied quickly on WhatsApp. Breakfast, the AC, and the shower were all fine. I’ll definitely return.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for me: an easy walk to the center, while still peaceful and quiet. Casa Dos Lirios is lush and beautiful, with the warmth and personal touch I look for in a boutique hotel. I love these smaller places more than big commercial hotels, and this one was just right for a restful stay. I’d absolutely come back.

My husband and I started our honeymoon here, and the whole place was wonderfully relaxing. Everything, including the rooms, was so clean. We enjoyed the nice breakfast each morning, and the location was amazing, close to so much. The staff were warm and friendly.

Juan was a wonderful host and glad to help with recommendations. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and bars around Merida, and the fresh-cooked breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was another favorite. Our room was spacious, with a really comfortable bed. We loved our recent stay, 4.5/5.

The first morning, our breakfast server was great. I left my purse behind, and he actually ran down the street after me with it. The next morning, service was unfortunately very slow, and the servers stayed in the kitchen, so we often had to get up and look for them. Still, this hotel is a stunning oasis in Mérida, with a lovely outdoor area and a really nice breakfast. The owner clearly cares about hospitality. If you’re considering booking, go for it.
