A peaceful spot tucked into the city, away from the busy downtown noise. The rooms were clean, there’s a little pool, and the staff were friendly. George and any at reception were especially nice. At $600 per night, I’ll book here again when I need a room. Hope I’m back soon!

The front desk was helpful, the price was reasonable, and there’s a small pool. The main problem was how clearly you could hear other guests outside the room. It was nice otherwise.

We chose Hotel Virreyes for two nights on October 6 and 7, 2020, while getting away from Hurricane Delta in Chelem, Yucatan, where we live by the beach. I’m really glad we did. It’s a quaint hotel, the staff were friendly and helped with all our requests, and room service was delicious. Our room was immaculate, and the large bathroom was sanitized. I’d highly recommend Hotel Virreyes.

Clean, nice hotel for an affordable price. The internet was slow, and the receptionist wasn’t very cooperative when I asked for a small table to use my laptop.
