The central location was handy, and both the staff and the spacious room were nice. We had a great view and no issues with the room itself. But the noise was unbearable: motorcycles revved every night until 2 or 3 a.m., and even staying on the 14th floor didn’t help. If you plan to do laundry there, allow 5-6 hours because drying took forever.
The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day, which we really appreciated. We also liked the balcony and its view, along with the kitchen, coffee machine, and basic cookware. Just know there were no basics like coffee, salt, or pepper, and the rooftop BBQ wasn’t working. Our room could be noisy, so light sleepers may want to request an upper floor. I asked for an extra blanket, but none were available, so they brought an electric heater instead. The front desk staff had limited English, which made communication a little difficult. The bathroom and toilet could use an update.
For the price, it was fine, and the location was perfect. Check-in went smoothly and the bed was comfortable. The room was okay, a bit dated, with some dirt on the carpet and in the bathroom. Nothing major, but if you’re very particular about cleaning, it could bother you.
That 23rd-floor view across Mexico City is a real highlight, and my room 708 had a lovely sight of the Angel of Independence Monument from the window. I stayed seven nights at Capri Suite Reforma Angel, mainly because it was close to the offices I needed to visit. Weekdays were comfortable, and the location worked well, with convenience stores and coffee shops nearby. There are also lots of Korean restaurants within walking distance. Paying by card was easy, and I appreciated the generous noon checkout. The weekends were much less peaceful. The soundproofing was poor, so I could hear neighbors and plenty of outside noise, which affected my evenings. Room cleaning was daily except Sundays. There was no complimentary water, tea, or coffee, and no hairdryer. The kitchen setup was fine for preparing simple meals. The gym on floor minus 2 felt dark, and its equipment looked a bit old. Overall, it’s a comfortable weekday option with a useful Reforma location, though weekend noise and missing standard amenities are worth knowing about.
For a couple of nights, it was a decent place. The room was roomy, and being near the city's main sights was the best part, along with the rooftop. The furniture is somewhat old, and our room went uncleaned for two nights in a row. They also didn’t refill the shower gel until I asked. Staff don’t speak English. There’s no air conditioning, so I feel for anyone staying in the really hot season.
