The final straw was finding a massive RAT in our room, which made us check out immediately. We were on the top floor, so it didn’t seem like an easy place for a rat that size to reach. Earlier, we’d asked for early check-in, which had been presented as an option, but were made to wait until 3 p.m. When we checked the bed, there were hairs of all sizes on the sheets and a towel. Housekeeping dealt with it, but it still left my girlfriend and me uneasy about the standard. The hot water took around 40-50 minutes to come through. We were paying for a hotel with a rat. Absolutely unacceptable. Don’t stay here.

The decor is so cute, and they’ve done an amazing job with such a small inner city building. It was very clean, good value, in a great location, and the staff were friendly. We were even offered a balcony room at no extra cost. City noise was noticeable, and we could hear showers in neighboring rooms. In the evening, incredibly delicious smells drifted in from the Pakistani restaurant right next door. Awesome little place if you need to be in this part of Mexico City. I’d definitely go back.

The location is a plus, with a 711 across the street, and the shower was good. At 50 euros, it’s a cheap hotel for the area, but I’d choose another one. The rooms are way too noisy, you hear everything from the neighbors. The bed’s top blanket was dirty and too thin, and the mattress wasn’t comfortable. There’s no AC or heater either.

We booked through a well known third party service and stayed one night. The staff were great, and the location is great too, but the rooms are much smaller than they look in the pictures. More seriously, our bed was infested with bedbugs. My partner and I both got some pretty bad bites. The walls are thin enough that we could hear people doing their business in their rooms. Please fumigate the beds!
