The host was especially kind and gave us great recommendations, along with advice on staying safe in the city. We stayed five days with two friends, and when we were close to missing our flight, the owner even arranged for a friend to drive us to the airport. Auch kind people, a lovely clean hostel, comfortable bedding, plenty of showers, and a delicious breakfast included. They also welcomed us with a drink 🍷.

Javier is the best. You can tell he does everything with care and love, and he pays attention to each guest. The breakfast is a 10/10, with adjustments if someone can't eat something or doesn't like it. The kitchen is really clean and has everything you'd need, plus a few things you might not have thought of. The hostel feels cozy and safe, just right for relaxing after a busy day in the city. It's not right in the center, but getting around is easy. The metro is a two minute walk away, and just a few stops takes you to the center. This is the best hostel I've stayed at. I'd come back anytime. Thank you!!! 🌿✨

The dorms are on the compact side, but there's a lot of bathroom space, and everything stays clean throughout the day. The jungle outdoor area is a relaxing place to hang out. Javier and his team make it feel safe and friendly, with top notch service, homemade breakfast every day, and welcoming drinks. He's available whenever you need help. It's a bit outside the city center, though the metro is next door, so getting around is easy. My favorite hostel in CDMX.

I'm back at La Selva for a second stay and having a great time. Javier is so hospitable, and the place is clean and beautiful. I love the plants, the sweet cat who lives here, and how central the location is. The included breakfast is a lovely extra. I hope to return next time I'm in CDMX. ☺️

La Selva Hostel in CDMX has a lovely interior, clean and modern after its recent renovation. It's comfortable for a short visit or a longer stay, with a proper kitchen, filtered water, which is a big plus in Mexico City, and reliable WiFi. The staff and manager really made the stay feel easy and welcoming. Everyone was genuinely helpful and friendly. A great find, and I'd definitely recommend it for a stay in Mexico City.
