One Cd De México Patriotismo

I’ve stayed at One Patriotismo over the last four years, and the quality has dropped a lot. The beds and pillows are shockingly uncomfortable, even painful, and offer no real rest or support. Amenities are almost nonexistent, including on the “premium” fifth floor for Fiesta Rewards members. There are only a couple of shared irons at reception, so finding one when you need it is inconvenient. Reception staff are polite and answer questions, but service feels minimal, with little proactive help or problem-solving. I’d look for another option in the area.

The location is handy, with easy access to the main freeway entrances and Patriotismo Ave. Uber pickup and drop-off are simple, and having a mall in the same building is useful for a late walk or last-minute shopping. There’s a Starbucks, ATMs, and even a casino, and I think there’s an Oxxo and a pet store in the basement. The check-in woman was very nice and helpful, and the service was great. Breakfast didn’t disappoint: yogurt and fruit, toast, coffee, cereal, chilaquiles, and other dishes, all with good flavor. The rooms are small but fine for a night or so. My sheets looked clean, though I wasn’t sure whether they’d been changed or if it was a laundry issue. I called the front desk, and they changed the whole bed in under five minutes. The bathroom has no ventilation and gets hot and steamy. Traffic noise from the main avenue is constant, and I could hear music from a party somewhere nearby until 2 a.m. Light sleepers may not enjoy it, but for the price, it was still a good experience.

The room was small, but it had everything I needed and a nice view from the sixth floor. It was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet and cable TV were included. The price felt a little high, though about what you’d expect for this area.

The only real advantage is being right above Plaza Patriotismo, which seems to explain the room rates. We’ve stayed here three times, and each visit felt worse than the last. The rooms are cramped, the bed is too small for two, the shower barely has any pressure, and the place feels worn out. Breakfast was such a letdown that you’re better off getting something downstairs at the Plaza. Our last stay was in 2023. I can’t recommend it anymore.
