Posada Casa Mexicana Jamaica

The smoking was impossible for us as non-smokers. The whole hostel reeked of nicotine, and people smoked everywhere: three people were smoking in the kitchen when I went in, someone was smoking in an upstairs toilet, and people smoked right by our window. Our room smelled the same. The bathroom was bare, with a small sink and nowhere to put a toothbrush or soap. The little mirror only works if you're no taller than 1.65 mt. The area also felt unsafe at night. One evening after we left the hostel, two motorcycles passed us, looked at us, then turned back in our direction, so we hurried inside. They charge an extra 5% for card payments, which is against the law.
