The Red Tree House

It’s the people who make the Red Tree House stand out. Alejandro, the manager, Victor, the concierge, the front desk team, morning cooks, and cleaners all show attentiveness, generosity, and a real eagerness to help you understand everyday life in Mexico City and the city’s cultural riches. We’ve stayed at plenty of high-end resorts, but haven’t found customer service that tops theirs. The hotel also has a great location, individually styled rooms, artwork throughout, and authentic Mexican breakfasts prepared every morning. Just go there!

Our suite opened onto the garden terrace, and it was very quiet inside. There was plenty of space and everything we needed. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help, and breakfast was amazing. The neighborhood has lots of bars and restaurants, and felt very safe to walk around at night. For me, it's the best hotel in Mexico City.

I was nervous about feeling lonely on my first solo trip, but I ended up looking forward to coming back to the Red Tree House each day and chatting with the staff. Everyone was so friendly and took time to get to know me and help however they could. The room was great too, but the people are what made this the best place I've ever stayed. Thanks so much to Alejandro and the team for making me feel at home. I can't wait to return!

We stayed in one of the spacious apartments, which felt like a charming little home and was thoughtfully laid out. The linens were great, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Breakfast each day, daily cleaning, and the staff's hospitality all made the stay especially enjoyable. The Red Tree House is a gem, and I'd love to come back.
