We've stayed here twice and love this hotel. It's in a great, safe part of the city.

The room is nice and the top is amazing, with free breakfast. Just know you'll need to refill the shampoo, bring your own bar soap and toilet paper, handle the trash, and get and change your own towels and sheets. If you're traveling with an infant or young children, think about how you'll get them safely across the sky bridge in a stroller.

The rooftop terrace was very nice and well kept, check-in was easy, and I really appreciated having an AC unit. Still, after seven nights our stay didn't live up to my high hopes based on all the great reviews. The room doors face the courtyard, so noise carries in. We heard music blasting on repeat from the next building for a couple of hours, someone repeatedly dropping or clanking something while we tried to sleep, and cats fighting. None of it was extraordinary, but it was all very loud and out of our control. We also had to ring a bell to get let in, or ask staff to let us out each time. I assume it's for security, but it felt rough for everyone. On the first night, we realized the pull-out couch had no sheets and had to wake the staff member. Our room may have been one of the worst: it faced the freeway at eye level, and traffic was congested and noisy for much of the day and night. The double- to triple-paned windows still let noise through. Bright streetlights came into the living area where the pull-out couch was, and there were no heavy curtains. Had I known, I'd have booked a unit with two real bedrooms for our family of four. We've used a pull-out couch before without a problem. The place is technically close to the park, but the freeway and traffic made getting around difficult. Apart from a small liquor and convenience store, not much was nearby. It's technically Condesa, but right at the edge. Go half a mile deeper and the neighborhood is much cuter, with more shops, restaurants, and ATMs.

The windows do a great job keeping street noise out, and the AC in the bedroom cools things down quickly. The apartment-style rooms are clean, modern, and feel new, with a fantastic rooftop lounge. It's around three blocks from the edge of Condessa/Roma Norte, and I would've liked to be closer. Still, walking there and back during the day felt safe because the main street is busy with people. There's a doorman around the clock to let you in and out.
