The main problem here was the service, which made everything else hard to overlook. Before arrival, they sent me a private message trying to push check-in later than the time on my booking confirmation. I spent hours trying to get them to honor the offer they’d made. Then they put me in a different room from the one I chose. It didn’t match the photos for features or amenities: there were no windows, no patio for two people, and several basic items shown in the pictures were missing. The advertised coffee maker wasn’t there either. They said they’d bring it first thing in the morning, then rescheduled several times, and it finally showed up in the afternoon. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, either. They also tried to move my checkout an hour earlier than the time shown on the platform. Any of this would’ve been less frustrating if the staff had shown some hospitality. Instead, they made it feel like asking for basic things was a favor. Look elsewhere for the same price or less. You’ll surely have a more consistent, transparent, and pleasant stay.

The location in the Roma neighborhood is excellent. The rooms look a little small, but they’re cozy and well maintained. There are terraces to enjoy the fresh air and good coffee. It works well for solo travelers or couples, and I’d highly recommend it.

We paid €1000 for seven nights, and only three of the ten booking photos matched the apartment we got. Check-in was advertised for 3:00 PM, but we were told to wait until 4:00 PM. The washing machines were shared with the cleaning staff, who used them constantly, so we were told to do our laundry before 10:00 AM. Their noise carried into our ground-floor room beside the laundry, where guests waiting in the lobby sat right outside our window. The rooms had no soundproofing. The kitchen, dining area, and entrance opened onto the garbage room, and chairs were piled in front of the entrance. There was a rat trap beside them. Inside, the apartment was dark, damp, and had black mold. The wardrobe in the first bedroom was unusable because of mold and moisture on the walls. In the second bedroom, which had no TV despite the photos showing TVs in both bedrooms, black mold was growing from the wall beside the bed. There was dirt under the bed and the walls were coated with moisture. The terrace had no hammock, unlike the bright one in the photos, and was infested with worms and earthworms. There was one remote for two air conditioners. We all got sick. They tried to justify the different apartment by saying rooms were assigned first come, first served. We’re going to file a complaint with PROFECO over the breach of contract and unsanitary conditions.
