It was such a relief to come back to the quiet of Stay Ortenxia after busy days taking in the sights and sounds around the centro. The hotel is on a peaceful street, yet close to lots of great shops and restaurants. The space is lovely and clearly design-minded, and the staff were wonderful, helping us arrange taxis several times. We also looked forward to the delicious breakfast served upstairs each morning. I'd absolutely recommend it and would stay again.

The location made it easy to get around Oaxaca, with the old city aqueduct right across the quiet, charming street and the best coffee shops, restaurants, markets, and monuments about 10-20 minutes away on foot. Ortenxia is a new hotel with beautifully designed rooms, comfy sheets, and lovely eco-friendly products. The team were welcoming, flexible, and full of good energy. They also suggested great local spots for food, drinks, and music. A gem, and we'd love to come back.

Such good service at this small hotel. It's in a very quiet part of town, with great cafes and bakeries nearby. The main tourist area is at most a five-minute walk away.

Just the kind of little hotel we like, maybe eight rooms. The linen was great, beds comfortable, water clean, and the staff lovely. Most of all, it was relaxing. No hassles and no fuss.

I liked being in a quieter area and still just a short walk from the center and everything else. The hotel is gorgeous, with super soft beds, nice bathrooms, and great service. I'd highly recommend staying here.
