The staff really went out of their way for me. They let me leave my bicycle at the property while we spent five nights in Puerto Escondido. I’d also left my backpack in San José del Pacifico, and they worked hard to help get it back since my Spanish wasn’t good enough to arrange the shipping myself. They really saved me. I had a great one-night stay. The room was clean and had a nice mini fridge. The grounds were beautiful, with a decent-sized pool, though the water felt chilly and it wasn’t warm enough out for me to swim.

I’ve stayed here twice, two years apart, and found it nice, peaceful, and quiet. If you’re looking for a party spot, choose somewhere else and let this place keep its tranquility.

The beds are super hard, and we found cockroaches and crickets in the rooms. They barely cleaned, didn’t change the towels, and the service was very bad. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better. The outside of the hotel is beautiful, but inside the rooms aren’t as good as many other hotels. I wouldn’t stay here.

It’s a peaceful, quiet place, and the staff were great and helpful with everything. The hotel is 6 km from Centro, and a taxi ride costs about 150 pesos.
