Good beds, lovely linen, friendly staff. It's clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to the Centro, but cold. I stayed here last year too, and it was too cold then as well, though something has improved since. Here's my little rant: the Spanish came from a cold high country and built fireplaces wherever they went. Their descendants seem to have taken up that mid-twentieth-century English idea of putting on another sweater and enjoying being cold and miserable. Heat is what you get by standing in the sun. I'd gladly pay a bit more to be warm.

A cheap but nice place, with helpful, friendly staff. It's clean, has hot water, and is close to the center. My room was pretty noisy, though. I could hear everything in the rooms around me, and the WiFi didn't reach.

Whenever I visit Patzcuaro, I stay at this quaint little hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the rates are very fair, and the staff are kind and helpful. You can walk to everything in town. The plaza "chica" and plaza "grande" are about 3 and 5 minutes away on foot. I love this place and highly recommend it!
