SLS Playa Mujeres – ALL Inclusive Collection

Our son wanted to go to Kids Camp every day. They had a weekly activity calendar with a good variety, and the staff there were great. For dinner, Cleo was our favorite, with Twiggy next. The food was excellent every time and the wait staff were great. We chose the elite package so we could reserve dinners ahead of our stay. Our butlers Fabiola and Issac made everything smooth and enjoyable, and were incredibly helpful. The resort delivered on the elevated food experience we were looking for, along with the mix of family activities and adult space and time. A few things management could consider: the drinks menu leaned heavily toward cocktails, and as mostly wine drinkers we'd have liked more options that didn't require an extra purchase. The sleeping and bathroom areas could use a better privacy screen. Since we were traveling with a young child, we often had early reservations. A few times the food arrived cold, and we suspected it had been prepared in advance. We understand some advance preparation is needed when serving many people, but a steak at a steakhouse should come at the correct temperature. We look forward to returning.

The staff were excellent and attentive throughout, including Mona at the market for breakfast service, Reynardo at Cleo, Arturo and Carlos at Union, and Alex at Caracol. Aaron also deserves a mention for bringing our lunch from Twiggy to the beach. The poke bowls were very good. We had a great week with two littles. It was fun for them without being too overstimulating. The beach was great, and the kids water park was clean and fun. The food was phenomenal, especially the beef short rib at Caracol. Lunch choices were limited, and breakfast was the same every day. The rooms were nice but already a bit lived in, and the pull-out couch was not comfortable at all. We were very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend the resort.

Our dinner at Filia during our SLS Playa Mujeres stay was one of the trip's highlights. Eric Mis took great care of our family, with friendly, attentive service and spot-on recommendations. He knew the menu well and helped make the evening relaxed and enjoyable. The restaurant also made our son feel just as welcome as the adults, and he loved his pepperoni pizza. Chef Yair and the kitchen team did a lovely job. The steak came out tender, well seasoned, and medium as requested. The lamb was excellent, the carbonara rich and authentic, and the desserts finished the meal perfectly. We also had several glasses of wine that paired wonderfully with dinner. Filia is worth experiencing if you're visiting SLS Playa Mujeres. We hope to return next time. I should have taken more pics.

Valentin made dinner at Caracol our favorite dining experience of the trip. He was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu well. He answered our questions, gave us great recommendations, and made sure the meal went smoothly from the moment we arrived. His warm personality and excellent service made us feel welcome.
