For one night, the cheap price and beach proximity were the only pluses, and neither was all that great. It was an oven overnight, with no AC and a ceiling fan that barely worked. Guests were very loud in the pool area late into the night. Drinking water was hard to get, the shower drain failed and flooded much of the bathroom, there was no Wi-Fi in the room, and nowhere safe to lock up our belongings. I’d pass on this place.

The garden is nice and the pool is big, though it could be cleaned more often. The rooms have AC. The place has clearly seen better days, but for this area and price, it’s great. I’d return.

Nice and clean, affordable enough, and the pool is great. Bring cash. I booked online without realizing my card hadn’t been charged, since they prefer cash payment. After trying about ten ATMs, the one at Santander was the most reliable we found.

Would not recommend. The counter surfaces were covered in mites, and they’d started crawling on our belongings. We didn’t want to stay, but when we asked the front desk for a refund, they refused and said they’d already given us two rooms and should charge us for both. We’d asked for air conditioning after seeing our first room and were charged for an “upgrade,” but after an hour the AC still hadn’t cooled the room.

A quiet local hotel at an affordable price. The room was basic, with a king size bed, AC, and strong Wi-Fi. There’s a swim-up bar, and you can buy a pool day pass for a small fee. The location is great, between Bacocho, Carizalillo, and Angelito beaches. Rinconada’s restaurants, cafes, and shops are just a few minutes’ walk away.
