Hotel Posada Dora Emilia

Cool.

I’ve been coming for years and really like this hotel. The owners are quite elderly, but they’re very kind, so just be compassionate. It’s close to the city center and only about two minutes from the beach. There’s hot water around the clock, so you can arrive any time at night. The TVs aren’t as small as one review says. Yes, there are cockroaches, but they’re animals, and I’d rather see one in a hotel than find a whole town infested outside. Give the place a chance. Some people don’t appreciate the little these kind old folks have.

Someone tried to break into my room at night, and when I told the manager, he got angry 😡. There was no security at all, and I’m never coming back. I’d paid for an extra day, but they took away the air conditioning remote. The internet was awful too, and you have to go outside to the office to get a connection. The mattresses are ancient and feel like they’re mostly springs. There were bugs in the beds, and the service was terrible.

A few days ago I stayed here, and the staff were arrogant and rude. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathrooms are filthy, with bed bugs. The TVs are about the size of a cell phone, so be careful. I also found that someone had entered my room without permission. Terrible service. If you want a pleasant vacation, don’t go. I can’t recommend it.
