We picked this place for one night before an early flight, and the airport proximity made it adequate for that. There's nothing to shop or eat at within walking distance, though the on-site restaurant was handy. I liked the spaghetti Bolognese, while breakfast was very basic. Our room was roomy, and they supplied a fan heater since there's no air conditioning. The games room is dated: the ping pong table can't be used, the pool table is very old, and the small pool seems to be out of service.

We planned to stay seven nights but left early. Cats were wandering around the parking lot and main entrance, which was a problem because we're allergic. We also didn't like them near our car. The room wasn't cleaned, and after I asked for towels, nobody brought them up. The front desk woman was mean and spent time on the phone while we waited for an answer, and we felt she helped someone else instead of us. She said she'd arrange a full refund, but later claimed the manager wasn't there and they'd call when he returned. Two days later the manager contacted us and refunded only the nights we hadn't stayed. Why had the woman promised a full refund? We felt staff had lied to us, and we're still waiting for the rest.

02-07-25 I couldn't shower properly because there was no hot water, and Toluca's water is freezing in winter. I called reception and they said they'd send someone, but nobody came. The room entrance door also needed a very hard pull to close properly.

At departure, the main gate was shut and no one was there to help. The receptionist took it upon themselves to open it.

It was quiet and very comfortable, with ample secure parking. The restaurant had a reasonably priced menu and good service. Staff were attentive and friendly, always answering my questions with a smile. Thank you!
