The stage and production looked incredible, with beautiful lighting, a jungle atmosphere, and amazing sound. The crowd, though, was only okay, and at times it felt sketchy and overwhelming because of how packed it was. There was barely anywhere to sit, and moving around or enjoying the music was hard. It felt like being squeezed in with sardines. Prices were high all night: tickets cost a lot, drinks were about $22-25 CAD, and even a tiny bottle of water was around $10 CAD. That seemed especially excessive for an event lasting more than nine hours. I'm glad we experienced Zamna Tulum for RÜFÜS DU SOL once, but the lack of comfort, crowding, and expense mean we wouldn't go again. Some people love it, but it wasn't worth repeating for us.

The VIP area was so overcrowded that there was almost no room to move or dance. Unless you're right at the front by the rail, you can barely see, and the section is off to the side of the stage anyway, so the view isn't good. Avoid VIP tickets. Terrible experience!

We paid for VIP expecting a better view from the raised platform, but the structure moved a lot and its stairs were uneven, creating serious safety risks even for people without mobility issues or injuries. There was also very little security inside. The rain poured all night, and nowhere in the venue had cover for attendees. Huge puddles covered the main stage area, smaller stages, and even the exits. With ticket prices this high, the organization was unacceptable. They could at least have handed out free ponchos so people could enjoy the performances. More than half the crowd left early, and we were soaked through. The wristband wallet system was pointless too. We were told to preload tokens, which we did, but the bars accepted cash and cards anyway. My partner and I had looked forward to the event for a long time, and I've been to festivals around the world, but this was one of my most disappointing experiences. We left feeling we'd gotten nowhere near our money's worth. I've never before felt compelled to leave a negative review for an event, and I'm seriously considering asking for a refund. Zamna Tulum needs to rethink how it manages events and put safety and basic comfort first.

The toilets were the worst part: there were far too few, and they were dirty, overwhelmed, and poorly maintained. For a festival with these prices, that level of sanitation isn't acceptable. Staff and security were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. It felt like they ignored people, rushed them, and treated them as a nuisance instead of managing the crowd or offering help. Festival Zamma Tulum was one of the most disappointing events I've paid for. It was so dangerously packed you could barely move, never mind enjoy the music. It seemed like they'd sold too many tickets and hoped for the best. Everything inside was wildly overpriced, from entry to drinks, with luxury-level prices for a chaotic and uncomfortable setup. I'd rather go to war than return. Save your time and money and go anywhere else in Tulum.

We had a really good time at the festival, but Zamna as a brand left us feeling insulted over the vodka. The menu and bill both listed Grey Goose, and the price was definitely for Grey Goose, yet they served us Eristoff. When we asked, they just said they didn't have Grey Goose except by the bottle. This happened all night at every bar, so it seemed to be their usual way of doing things, scamming and disrespecting customers. Their menu was the shortest I've ever seen, with no mixers except sodas. The prices are already high enough to make a profit while still treating people respectfully and offering good drinks.
