My flights were delayed twice, and the staff made sure someone would be there late to meet me and check me in. I was really grateful. The hotel is simple but comfortable, with a good location and a great price. Housekeeping was very helpful too.

The noise was the main problem, and it made the room impossible to sleep in. Guests were loud until about midnight. Around 2 a.m., the front desk guy started a WhatsApp video call and spoke loudly for hours. He ignored my wife when she asked him to quiet down. In the morning, staff were talking loudly and watching videos again. There were also insects, very thin see-through sheets, no towels, poor WiFi, and parking was just one narrow alley, so it would be awkward if a car were parked behind yours. Those issues were minor next to the noise. I first thought it might be okay for one night, but it wasn't.

We'd driven 10 hours from Campeche and stayed here hoping to rest during our trip. Instead, we left even more exhausted. Other guests shouted and talked loudly until midnight, then the reception guy was on a WhatsApp call from 1 to 3 a.m. We couldn't sleep even with earplugs, and when I asked him to stop and be quiet, he did nothing. The room also had bad insulation, uncomfortable pillows, poor sheets, insects, and no towels.

It's a cheap, simple place near downtown, though not in a tourist area. The room was clean and had AC and a TV, and it felt secure at night. If you're heading to chiapa de corzo on your own instead of taking a tour, the Colectivo vans terminal is three blocks away. A handy place to spend one night before traveling around chiapas.
