The hotel has a great location, and I enjoyed being able to walk to cafés, vintage stores, and taco stands. Apart from this incident, the stay was pleasant, but I'll never return. I bought gourmet chocolates on the way to CDMX, worth over $1000 pesos, about $60 USD, and left them inside a closed backpack in the room. When I came back after the room had been cleaned, the chocolates were gone. I reported it at the front desk, but they did nothing to resolve it. If you can't trust hotel staff to respect your belongings and not steal from you, how can you enjoy staying there? The housekeeper stole from us, and the hotel did nothing. Also, A/C may be listed as available in the rooms, but that's false: none of the units in any room work.

I paid in advance for a room through BOOKING.COM, but when I arrived they said there was nothing free and that they didn't work with booking. I had to find another hotel. BOOKING.COM didn't give my money back either. Never again. Zero stars for the hotel and zero stars for booking.

There's hardly any communication, and the air conditioner in the room doesn't work. The walls are thin enough that you hear the people next door. Staff are friendly but speak only Spanish. The location and price are reasonable.

After booking through bookung.com and paying in advance, I paid for a taxi to the hotel, only to have them reject my booking. Never again!

We enjoyed our few days here and would recommend the place. The hotel is in a peaceful area, with food stands and restaurants nearby. Our room was a little too cold for our taste, but it was still alright. :-)
