Sri Sayang Resort Service Apartment

I booked the more expensive option because its picture showed a queen bed, while the cheaper one showed twin beds. The listing didn’t say these were actually the same room, but I ended up with twin beds. At reception, the price board showed RM88 for all rooms. This looks like a way to get customers to pay more for the exact same room on the same day. The agent didn’t refund the price difference, and Sri sayang acted as if the issue was Agoda’s trick and not Sri sayang’s poster.

The owner’s response made this even worse. There was no apology, no replacement, no cleaning arranged, and no refund. The problem was simply ignored, and we were left to handle it ourselves. I’d booked a 3-bedroom house for 2 nights, and RM1200 felt completely wasted. The house was very dirty and poorly maintained, with stained bedsheets, dirty floors, slow water pressure, and a broken air conditioner in the 3rd bedroom. It was so unpleasant that I didn’t feel comfortable or confident enough to pray there. The place wasn’t worth the money or stress. On the second day, we had to find somewhere else! We arrived at the property with a confirmed reservation from Booking.com, but the owner said he hadn’t received the information. Even after speaking with Booking.com, we couldn’t get the issue resolved. I don’t know where communication between the two parties broke down, but the service was lousy. Be warned, you could get caught out at the last minute.

So far, a good experience. The best part is the sea-view room with the hill right in front. Excellent.
