The bed and pillow were decent, and after a long trip it was a welcome place to rest before my early flight from Bayan Lepas Airport. The airport is close, and I could walk between it and the hotel in under 20 minutes at a fast pace, or about 30 minutes leisurely. Nearby there are local eateries, a very cheap hypermarket, and a Shell gas station, all within a 5-minute walk. Domino's Pizza is right beside the I-Home Hotel. Still, I regretted staying two nights. The room was dirty and unpleasant, nothing like the pictures, and the Wi-Fi was very weak. For a budget hotel, it was surprisingly pricey. I'd rather stay in the Georgetown area if I wanted a budget room to myself. One night for an airport transfer would have been enough. Traffic can get moderately congested because of the nearby Industrial Zone and Airport, and the neighborhood is hectic and noisy. I could even hear muffled sounds from outside through the toilet window in my room.

It was probably the smallest room I've stayed in, but it was clean, had AC, and the bed and duvet were comfortable. The staff also helped us book an early taxi to the airport.

I-Home is a reasonable fit for budget travellers. Sunway Prima is around 16-18 km from Penang's capital city, but it's close to Bayan Lepas International Airport and Queensbay Mall. Expectations should be modest for a budget hotel there.

The room was too cramped, and there wasn't enough space. The washroom door was stuck and wouldn't close properly. We won't use this hotel for a vacation again.

Nothing seemed to work, apart from the hotel's location near the airport. There were cockroaches everywhere. This group is the worst I've experienced. Don't stay here, it's really bad.
