Aayu Church St - 7 mins to Esplanade, George Town

Georgetown’s restaurants, coffee shops, stores and bars are all around, so the location was great. Lava was a pleasure to deal with. I asked her where to find a laundry and got the location back within minutes, and she also gave us lots of discounts for local businesses. The place was clean and well looked after. Booking somewhere without seeing it first worked out like a dream for us, and we’d love to come back one day. Thanks, Lava. Andy & Mandy Australia.

Room 6 is right beside the toilet, and the sound carries. We heard guests from other rooms when they got too noisy or used it in the middle of the night, which was a nuisance, though fortunately it only happened on the first night. Disposable earbuds were provided, but I didn’t want to risk sleeping through my alarm. Aside from that, the rooms were clean, the admin was warm and attentive, and the location just outside Little India is excellent for walking to tourist spots. Still a very good value stay.

Street noise was the one drawback, but the owner supplied earplugs and that pretty much fixed it for us. The guesthouse is cozy and very clean, and its location is handy for walking to the heritage area. I loved staying here.

The decor is nicely done, and the bed was comfortable. I had a good stay at this fairly new place. This was my second time at Aayu Homes in Georgetown. It’s very close to 'Little India', so it should suit anyone who likes Indian food. 😊
