Red Rock Hotel

The staff deserve credit for being warm, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Parking was ample, which was a real blessing, and there are convenience shops in and around the hotel. Many affordable food choices are just a short walk away. The location is about as good as it gets, within walking distance of nearly all the city's attractions. The interiors, though, need a serious refresh. The exterior paint looks dated and could put people off at first glance. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean, but the bathrooms show their age. The tiles, walls, and hoses need renovation. Even though the floors were well mopped, years of scratches, discoloration, and wear make the tiles look dirty. The rooms would also benefit from updated furniture, fresh paint or wallpaper, and new carpets. It's a shame that the dated look lets down an otherwise excellent hotel. With that location and such good staff, the property has plenty of potential and deserves serious investment.

The hotel is clean, proper, and secure, just 50 metres from the street-food area. There's a licensed pharmacy on the ground floor and a dim-sum restaurant right next door for breakfast.

It's in the town area and easy to access. The lobby needs to be cleaner. R ROCK HEALTH THERAPY is available and could be worth trying.

Housekeeping on the 9th floor does a very good job of cleaning the room. I want to write to Hasan and tell him his work is excellent.
