This was disgusting and terrible. We found bed bugs in two rooms. About an hour after we started sleeping in the first room, we were itching all over, so we went downstairs and told the receptionist. She helped move us to another room. The itching was less there, but still continued, and we thought it was from the bites in the first room. When we woke up a few hours later in the morning, there was another bed bug. They can cling to clothes and bags and get brought home, and they’re extremely hard to get rid of. Don’t book this hotel at any cost!

If you’re after the feel of a 90's hotel scene in KL, New Wave Hotel gives you a glimpse of it as soon as you walk in. They’re trying hard to keep up with today’s standards, and I was amazed by how tidy the bed was. The room was surprisingly clean. Money matters, of course. I keep hoping for a walk-in rate below RM60, but that never happens anywhere here. Parking is a bit tight, so check in late when a space may be available in the evening. Want that 90's KL hotel vibe? Come here.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. The Wi-Fi was slow, there was no elevator, the AC was broken, a light didn’t work, and there were bugs, among other problems!

A very bad experience. They didn’t help at all, and staying here was a waste of money.

The toilet and room were very clean, and the air conditioner was really cool. But the smell wasn’t good, and outside air didn’t ventilate well. With five adults in the room, we opened the door every hour from 4 am onward to exchange the air.
