I stay at Koho Hotel every month for work, and its central spot makes it easy to find food, get to shopping malls, or meet clients. There's a Petron station around the corner, and restaurants across the street or right beside the hotel if I don't feel like driving. The rooms are clean, the bed is really comfortable, and the recent renovation has made the lobby, bedrooms, and bathrooms look much more modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's an affordable, convenient place to stay when I'm in Johor, so it's my usual choice. Parking is the one thing I'd criticize. The hotel has spaces for guests, but outsiders sometimes use them for the restaurants next door or nearby offices. It can be full, with only two or three spots left, so I feel lucky if I find even one. Maybe Koho Hotel could add cones or signs to show which spaces are for hotel guests.

Had a terrible first experience. The front desk person, James, let a stranger into my room without asking me first. A call girl was also allowed into the room, and it caused a big problem.

The location is great for food and malls, though traffic can be heavy and getting out onto the main road is difficult. Parking can be a problem, and there's no dedicated parking, so park at your own risk. The rooms have just been renovated and are bright, clean, and practical for a quick rest. Water pressure was okay and the water was hot. They provided two bottles of drinking water, two towels, and a floor mat. There's a water dispenser and ironing board by the lift. Staff were average and slow.

The room renovation looks really nice, and I found the place comfortable and pleasant. It's a good budget option if you want a clean room and a nice environment. The sound system wasn't great, but it didn't bother me since there wasn't any loud noise during my stay.
