There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and it’s convenient to walk around and explore. Kota Bharu river front is less than 200 meters away. The hotel offers free parking on its premises, and the staff on duty are polite and friendly. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor of the tower block, with simple, good options at a reasonable price and a view over the older part of town. It’s centrally located in Kota Bharu Town, but away from the busy area. The shop-house facade can be misleading; inside, this mid-budget hotel has rooms for different groups, including a tower block with city views.

The location is excellent, with plenty of eateries a 5-10 minute walk away. Central Market, Siti Khadijah shopping bazaar, and the War Museum are about five minutes away by car. There’s also an old-school coffee shop across the road for traditional-style coffee. I stayed three nights and found the check-in quick and smooth, and the staff friendly and helpful. For a 3 star hotel, the breakfast selection and quality can hold its own against bigger hotels. The room was clean, with strong shower pressure. Highly recommended for a business or holiday visit to KB.

I was on a two-night work trip and got a very affordable rate. It’s really close to the airport. The room and toilet were spacious, and it came with an iron and ironing board, sejadah, tissue towel in the toilet, and a mini fridge. I booked through agoda with breakfast, which had good food and lots of choices. The staff were helpful too. I called about the aircond and got a satisfying response.

The hotel has a homely feel, along with clean rooms and friendly staff. It’s conveniently placed a short distance from Kota Bharu's historic and only airport, and near the town’s attractions. For breakfast, head up to the 7th floor. The nasi lemak and mee goreng stood out to me at the buffet because they tasted home-cooked.

Breakfast was a highlight, with filling local favourites and a good range of international options. Check-in was quick, thanks to the polite, friendly reception team. The room and bathroom were spotless and well kept. Highly recommended, I’ll happily return.
