Aeden Villa, Roomstay & Homestay

We contacted the owner directly near the end of March to check on our booking, and were told there was no reservation. We had booked through Agoda for a few days before Raya in April 2025, and in early February Agoda customer service, not the homestay owner, had asked us to cancel because of an interrupted water supply. I didn't reply because April was still two months away and I assumed it would be sorted by then. If Agoda is being used for bookings, why not check the system properly? Otherwise, the rooms shouldn't be listed on Agoda, Booking.com, or Trip. I'm frustrated, and I still haven't received a refund. The owner says the booking was canceled in early February. In 2025, it's hard to say you didn't know what happened when the internet is right at your fingertips. If you can update your IG, you can update all your online platforms too. And if you take walk-in reservations, please keep the system current. Easy peasy.

The kids loved spending the morning by the pool, and the whole place had a lovely peaceful feel with a cool breeze. The hostess was friendly, quick to help us check in, and made sure our family was comfortable. The rooms had all the amenities we needed, and you could tell the details had been thought through. There are several stalls right across the street, so finding inexpensive food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner was no problem. Just look at the photos, this place is amazing. Five stars, guys. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Kangsar, and I liked it better than a hotel. 👍

A great spot for a family get-together, with plenty of restaurants just across from the villa. It works well for kids and teenagers too.
