This is a budget hotel, so keep your expectations modest. People mostly seem to stay overnight before catching the next morning's ferry to Langkawi, since the last ferry service each day is at 1 p.m. Stay here if you need to.

Parking is quite limited, though restaurants are conveniently close. The location is right by the jetty to Langkawi. The room is narrow for two adults and a child; there’s little room to pray, but it can be done.

If you’re waiting to head to Langkawi, it’s convenient enough because it’s close by. For comfort, though, it falls short. It can work for a stopover to sleep and rest, but cleanliness needs attention, with mosquitoes flying around. The toilet was okay and clean.

For two people, €90 seemed fair, and one night was enough for us. The room had no window and very little furniture, which didn’t bother us for such a short stay. The mattresses didn’t look very fresh, there was no bathroom sink, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. A machine running above our room was very loud and disruptive overnight and early in the morning.
