The kids loved staying here. Anjung Pantai Resort is right by the beach on Jalan Sbrang Takir Terengganu, and it’s close to the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the surroundings felt calm and peaceful.

We stayed during the school holidays two weeks ago. The location was very convenient: close to town and the drawbridge, facing the beach and restaurants, with the beach just across the road for a walk. The room was okay, though some upgrades would help, and I’d replace the curtains with sun blocking or blackout ones. WiFi was very poor. The pool was okay too, but a cover might stop rhu leaves falling into it. It was room only, with no breakfast. They asked for a RM50 deposit at check-in and preferred cash. Still, it was a nice stay, 3.8 stars.

We enjoyed the facilities and the private feel of the area. Our family gathering had about 70 people, and the place could accommodate us. We just didn’t have enough time to enjoy the white beach across the road.

It’s right on the Kuala Terengganu beachfront, facing the South China Sea. There are plenty of restaurants and food spots nearby, so there’s a good range depending on what you like. I highly recommend it, though it’s fully booked on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. The owner is a close friend.
