It’s a long way from the city, though there are a few mini marts nearby. The sunrise views are stunning, and it suits families looking for a quiet, comfortable stay near the beach.

You can hear the waves while you sleep, and the beach is just a few steps away. It’s peaceful and quiet, with six rooms, a shared kitchen, and an open hall. There’s also green space inside the gated area for outdoor activities, so it works well for a family day.

The beach facing pavilion was a nice spot to sit and eat, and there’s an opening behind it that leads straight to the beach. It was too hot for us to enjoy the beach much, though. The place is a bit far from where we needed to work, but the rooms are spacious and air conditioned. Our AC took quite a while to warm up. Basic necessities are provided, and there’s a kitchen guests can use for free. All the rooms face a garden in the middle, and the mess hall can fit everyone staying there. I definitely liked it here.

The sunrise view was so beautiful, MashaAllah, and Kak Nik was a warm, attentive host. We even got a wedding gift, siap! Kallang House was the perfect choice for our wedding venue, a secluded and lovely spot for a small gathering. The room was spacious, and we’ll remember our stay fondly. ❤️

The sound of the waves at night made the place feel so soothing. The room was even better than I expected, really clean, and the toilet was superb. Kak Nik, the owner of Kallang house, was responsive and friendly. We couldn’t swim at the beach because it was high tide, but the swim at Pantai Tok Jembal behind UMT was amazing. Kak Nik recommended it. Love the healing vibes here. I’d definitely come back if we visit Terengganu again. 10 stars from me.
