Impiana by Roxy Hotel

There’s a lot to like here, from the friendly front desk and Noosa staff to the spacious room and the open-air balconies on every floor. The rooftop event hall, restaurant on the second floor, and ground-floor cafe and convenience store are useful to have in the building. The hotel is a two-year-old Sarawakian chain, and my stay was easy and relaxing. From the balcony you can catch a spectacular sunset over Gunung Serapi in the distance. The room, including the shower area, was too dim for me, and the shower knob was confusing and awkward to use. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

We were happy with Impiana By Roxy and might stay again on our next Kuching visit. The hotel is centrally located for the places we wanted to see, and the room was spacious, with a large balcony, a comfortable bed, a good enough shower, and everything working properly. The floor was pretty dusty and had bits of debris on it. I nearly asked housekeeping for a broom. Service was slow too: I requested an extra towel in the morning and it didn’t arrive until that night.

The lobby felt calm and uncrowded, with lots of natural light, clean surroundings, and comfortable seating where you can sit for a while. From outside, Impiana Hotel by Roxy looks modern and well kept. The style is simple but classy, and it left a nice first impression. A comfortable place to consider if you’re around Kuching 👍

A little detail I liked was the swan made from towels, with a rose on the bed. It gave the room a romantic touch and showed care in the small things. From check-in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional. The hotel felt modern and well maintained, and the service was efficient, so everything went smoothly. Roxy Impiana made for a memorable stay, and I’d gladly return. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, attractive place to stay in Sarawak.
