MWV Suite Room (MUAR)

We had a cosy, clean room with plenty of space for our family. The hotel is close to shops and lots of food spots, including Sabak Awor for dinner and MJ Corner for breakfast. There's also a mosque behind it, and the hotel feels secure. One thing I'd suggest is putting mineral water, coffee and tea in the room, since there's already a kettle. We enjoyed the stay and will surely return. Five stars for MWV Suite Muar. Thanks! 😊

The shared space was handy, with sofas, a dining table, a TV and Coway drinking water. There were swings for kids and adults too. I liked that there were no bottled drinks in the room, which is better for the environment. My room, number 8205, had two queen beds and was spacious and comfortable for four, though there was no window. I hadn't noticed that when booking on Agoda, and for a windowless room I found the price a little high. I chose it because of the good Agoda ratings. Parking was another hassle. There isn't a dedicated lot, so you have to use the shared spaces around the shop lots, and I sometimes had to park quite far away. For parking from 0800 am to 0600pm, Sat to Thu, you also need to get a coupon from the nearest Caring Pharmacy. Check-in took a little longer than expected. Agoda hadn't given the owner my contact number or told me that the owner needed to contact me directly. We arrived expecting a check-in counter, but I had to call Ms Tay for the details. We got it sorted out, though it might help if the owner sent the instructions through Agoda or added them to the listing.

I really enjoyed the night here. The room was comfortable, and the price felt more than fair. A great choice for a short stay if you're after good quality on a low budget. Highly recommend it.

I booked this hotel in a rush at the last minute, just an hour before, and stayed for one night. The cosy, very clean room and the service still managed to surprise me. We loved the modern look and would come back. There are lots of nice spots for photos too. ❤️😅
