There were loads of flies all over the cart. I also couldn’t understand why there was no rain policy, so there was no refund after getting caught in the rain following the first hole. The place looked like an abandoned fairground, with National Lampoon vibes, and there was no hot water in the changing rooms. There are plenty of better courses to play.

I played here on Monday, 3 November 2025. The second nine greens were decent, with a speed of around 7 or 8, but the first nine greens were completely out of shape. They looked like they hadn’t been mown for more than two weeks. The fairways weren’t bad. Course and clubhouse maintenance seemed poorly handled. RM88.00 is what you get for the price, I suppose. I probably won’t come back.

For a practice round, it’s a good option: there aren’t many people, the course is spacious, and the management makes for an interesting layout. Weekends at MYR 140 are reasonably priced too. The course is convenient to reach, around 20m to the left after passing Socend Lunk, though the final 10km is along a narrow, dangerous single-track road through the forest. Maintenance is what you might expect at this price. Fairways and greens are untidy, the green is uneven, and some fairway grass is extremely long. If your ball lands in the rough or near a tree, it’s very hard to find, and even when you do, it’s often muddy. Balls landing in hazards are gone for good, with the water covered in black oil. The location and price are appealing, and it’s surprisingly quiet.

It’s calm and peaceful, and a very good place for beginners to play golf. Nearby, though, there’s no EV charging station, JPJ computerized vehicle inspection, ECONSAVE, bowling alley, or durian orchard.
