Our family booked two rooms for three nights over CNY. The other room was fine, but mine had a serious cleanliness problem. There were small dead cockroaches on the floor on the first day. By the third day, live ones were coming through the bathroom floor trap, which wasn't properly sealed. When I shifted my luggage from the floor, insects ran out from underneath it, and I found a crushed one under the bag too. They moved along the skirting and disappeared into gaps at the room corners. We checked out that night. The front desk offered to move us, but didn’t apologize and only asked what kind of insect it was. This seems to have been a hygiene failure in that particular room. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for a hotel, so the stay was very disappointing.

A clean, comfortable room with the essentials, and the elevator and Coway water dispenser were handy extras. It’s really close to Amanjaya Mall and good value, so I’d stay again. Just bring your own toiletries, since none are supplied.

A good-value stopover if you’re heading from Malaysia across the border into Thailand. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the hot shower was great. Staff were nice too.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, including the Char Kuey Teow stall beside the hotel. The air conditioning worked well, and the stay was OK for me, though I’d only choose it for a short visit. The surroundings looked a bit dusty.

The sheets seemed clean, but I found the cleanliness of the room appalling. I killed so many baby cockroaches through the night, which was a real letdown. The room itself was very basic, as you’d expect from a budget hotel.
