The kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfortable, the neighbourhood was nice, and the bakery downstairs was amazing. It was very quiet too. My partner and I had the place to ourselves when we stayed in December. I was here many years ago, and it was my favourite Bed and Breakfast in Europe.

The shared kitchen is stocked and used by guests in the other rooms too. The green room has an attached bathroom, and it was clean and well kept. Staff helped us carry our bags up two flights of stairs. They leave a free slice of cake as a gift each day. There’s also a shared living room, but it’s for smoking, so it isn’t usable for non-smokers.

I stayed four days in the orange room. It was cute, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The room was so quiet I could sleep with the windows open. The living room and kitchen are on the same floor, and the owner stocks breakfast basics for guests, including fresh bread, cheese, ham, sweets, cereal, milk, and coffee. The best touch was the daily vouchers for cake and coffee from the cakeshop under your pillow. Delicious!
