The room was compact, but nicely put together, and you can’t beat the location. We liked having the bar downstairs to relax in after a day out. The building is very old, so there’s no elevator. Staff were great, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a hot shower with great water pressure, and the room was clean and quiet since it looked onto the courtyard instead of the street. The hotel is also in a handy spot, about a five-minute walk from the main station and well placed for exploring the city late at night. Service was great too.

The lack of sound insulation in the windows meant we could hear everything outside. Then, at 7 AM, workers began hammering and drilling right beside the rooms while repairing the windows. If guests are paying to rest, maintenance shouldn’t start that early and disturb their sleep. My stay was ruined. Anyone hoping for a chance to relax won’t get it here.

This is a place for people who plan to explore, not spend the whole day in their room. It’s right in a busy, central area, and since the building is old, you’ll hear that activity from your room. Keep those things in mind when booking.

You’ve got everything you need in the room, and it’s a great place to stay if you want to be in the city centre. Centraal station is only three minutes away, which is perfect for an early flight from Schipol.
