Hotel Tamara

There were rats running along the walls, and squeaking from upstairs kept us awake most of the night. The place felt dirty and neglected, and sleeping was almost impossible. The manager, I think his name was Mario, didn’t take our concerns about the hotel seriously. He looks nothing like Mario and doesn’t have the charm either. The building felt unsafe, with old wooden floors creaking so badly that every step made me fear I’d fall through. When we arrived, someone at the top of the stairs was openly smoking what looked like crack cocaine from a pipe. It made us feel unsafe right away. The rooms have a strict no-smoking rule, which seemed bizarre given the state of the property and what else was happening inside. The atmosphere was very strange too. From things we overheard other guests say, we got the impression the property might be used for activities beyond ordinary hotel stays, which made us even more uncomfortable. Between the unsafe structure, apparent drug use, rats, restrictive rules, and general neglect, I don’t think this place should be operating as a hotel. I strongly advise looking elsewhere to save your money, sleep, and sanity.

AVOID AT ANY COST, you can thank me later. If negative stars were possible, they’d fit. Our bedroom floor was in terrible shape and a trip hazard. We complained, but management didn’t respond or take responsibility for fixing it, so we had to book another hotel rather than risk falling during our vacation. We paid 250 euro for two nights and got this dangerous floor. See image.

A decent place to stay, as long as you’re not expecting the Ritz. It was 🫧 clean, the bedding was fresh, and the rooms were adequate. I felt 🔐 safe, and the manager was really friendly and helpful. Keep your luggage light, since there are lots of narrow stairs. Enjoy your stay. Bye.

Seven friends and I spent four days here and had a great time. The hotel isn’t in the best condition, and the rooms and toilets are old, but they were always clean. The location is perfect. Mario at reception was the real highlight. He’s a lovely, hardworking man who’ll help however he can and make sure you have a good experience. Big shout out to Mario!
