The Concert Hotel

A good option if you want to be near the center but still have quiet nights. The location is very convenient, about a five-minute walk from the Concert Hall, Van Gogh Museum, and a large supermarket, and the city center is also within walking distance. The receptionists were kind and happy to answer our questions. The rooms are a decent size, though not especially big, and everything was clean. I found the shower a bit small and cramped. Keep in mind this may not suit older or disabled guests: the elevator is tiny and only goes to the third floor, and our fourth-floor room meant climbing very steep stairs. I'd recommend the hotel overall.

The twin room I booked with points was small, though fine for sleeping since I didn't use it for much else. It had a TV, the bathroom was clean, and the turnover service was great. There's also breakfast service, and the staff were friendly. For solo travelers wanting privacy, it could work well. The location earns most of the points: it's right by Concertgebouw station and about a 10-minute walk from the Rijksmuseum and Museumplein area.

The airlines booked us here after I got stranded in Amsterdam during the weather chaos in the first week of January. The rooms were clean and breakfast was nice, but above all, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I really appreciated their support in such a crazy situation.

Check-in was easy and friendly, and the bed was clean, but the showers were ice cold. Breakfast was limited. Still, I think the overnight stay was quite cheap for two people.
