The July - Boat & Co

We stayed at the July with our ten-month-old and loved it. The apartment gave the three of us enough room, and having a kitchen was incredibly convenient when the baby needed us to call it an early night. I was unsure about the location, but most places we wanted to go were a quick, easy walk away. It’s about a twenty-minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal, which felt worth it for the extra space and conveniences. The laundry room was especially handy. We thought the accommodations were stellar and highly recommend the July.

We stayed in a studio and made good use of its well-equipped kitchen. The rooms had fantastic views, and the hotel sits right on the river. It’s a short ride to the main center, and we made great use of the free bikes, which there were plenty of. The hotel is gorgeous and has everything you need. The atmosphere is laid-back, while staff were very attentive to our needs. We’d definitely recommend The July and hope to return.

We’ve stayed here twice in the last six months, which probably says it all. It’s modern, clean, extremely quiet, very comfortable, and well equipped. It’s also in my favorite Amsterdam neighborhood, close to a grocery store, shops, cafés, restaurants, the water, nice walks, and public transport. There’s a local park too if you have children. The staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a couple of parcels delivered to the hotel, and they kindly put them in our room. From the airport, it’s about a 45-minute trip from Schipol by train and bus, then an easy walk from the bus stop. We love it and plan to try the other places in this lovely small aparthotel chain. I hope they add more destinations around the world beyond the ones they already have. Enjoy 😊❤️

Having a kitchen and two separate bedrooms and bathrooms made travelling with our child so much easier. We could cook and still have our own room, which is especially nice in Europe, where it can be hard to find enough space for everyone. The rooms were great, and the location worked perfectly, with a lovely park just two blocks away, plus a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, and transit nearby. We’d absolutely stay here again, and wouldn’t hesitate to book another July property in a different city.
