The studio had everything we needed, from a fridge and dishwasher to a coffee machine, electric bed, underfloor heating and great Wi-Fi. It was spotless, and there’s a supermarket nearby. The host was kind and very helpful, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Breakfast and other food were provided, though we had to prepare them ourselves. It’s about an hour from the city centre by public transport, but the comfort more than made up for that. Better than some five-star hotels in Amsterdam, and we’d absolutely recommend it.

Hoofddorp is a relaxed town, just a 20-minute train ride from A’dam, and Lettie’s place has lovely, attentive service. Set in a garden in an area reclaimed from Haarlem’s lake, the place feels wonderfully tucked away. You’ll fall for the garden, and it’s a great choice if you don’t like the small rooms in large tourist hotels. I’ll definitely be back.

All the thoughtful little touches made the stay feel special. It was like sleeping in a cute treehouse in the woods 🏡💕 We’ll meet again!

It costs a bit, but it’s a one-of-a-kind stay with everything catered for. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating.

The apartment is lovely and comfortable, with very good furnishings and enough room for two. It sits beautifully in the garden, and the location made it possible to reach all the major attractions within 30 minutes. Our main bother was the carpet’s smell. We couldn’t leave the patio door open because mosquitoes would come in. The bedroom and bathroom windows had screens, so a screen on the patio door would have been nice. Still, we’d recommend the apartment.
