The hotel is right in central Maastricht, and our room was clean. Service and breakfast were excellent. We took the train from Amsterdam, then walked about 15 minutes from Maastricht station to the hotel. If you’re visiting in summer, be aware that not every room has AC. Ours didn’t, but a fan and keeping the shades down during the day made it manageable. Definitely recommend.

The location made it easy to explore Maastricht, and parking was just around the corner. Our room and apartment had recently been renovated to a high standard. From my first call to book for three adults through check-in and checkout, the service was warm throughout. We had a great stay at Hotel Au Quartier and would absolutely recommend it for a distinctive stay in the city.

Breakfast is prepared from the food you request the night before. We stayed in a quiet old house converted into a hotel, very close to the town centre, and our host was extremely polite. A very pleasant place.
