D'Orangerie

I'd be very wary. I booked an apartment months ahead through Booking.com, then contacted them the day before and was told the reservation had been cancelled 15 days earlier. They'd still charged my card three days before that call. I had to scramble for alternatives, which cost much more. It left me wondering if they were already full and wanted to charge other visitors more. A disgrace, be warned.

We couldn't shower for the whole stay because the shower didn't work when we arrived. That same evening I sent the host videos showing no water and asked if it could be fixed. The host insisted that couldn't be true. I then asked her to show us how it was supposed to work, but she stopped replying.

Our reservation had been made a month ahead, but they cancelled it the day before we were due to arrive, saying, 'this residence will be closed.' We'd already arranged transport and restaurant bookings, so suddenly finding somewhere else was a big challenge. It feels like a scam. I'm heavily disappointed, and I can't review the accommodation itself.

Fantastic location, but the management was awful. It's an old hotel partly turned into short-rental studios, with a low-quality renovation. The rooms were dusty and the floor was sticky and dirty.
