Hotel Sansa

The stairs up to the rooms were narrow and felt unsafe. Our double room was also changed at check-in, and the replacement was filthy, with used underwear and empty bottles under the bed. The heat didn't work, and the shared bathroom was dirty and had no lock. We managed to find a nice hotel at the last minute and got our money back.

The staff were really kind, reception was available at any time, and they even lent us a hairdryer. We hardly noticed the bad smell apart from at reception. For what we paid, the room was clean and fine, though it got a bit cold overnight. Each floor has a shared bathroom with showers and toilets; ours was clean, but not in great shape, and the lights kept going out, which was annoying but manageable. I booked one night for my boyfriend and me, and the other reviews had made me a little nervous. In the end, I didn't find it as bad as many of them made it sound.

The shared bathroom was really dirty, and there were stains on the beds as soon as we entered the rooms. The smell of fast food was strong when we first came in, and even worse upstairs. We had to wait a little while before anyone came to greet us and hand over the keys. Definitely not worth the money.

The staff were so friendly and sweet, even having a little joke with us. We stayed over New Year and got a lovely, cozy room in a great spot, with everything we needed for the night. For the price, we couldn't have asked for better. I'd definitely recommend it and would book here again.
