The people here were wonderful, and breakfast was lovely, even as a vegetarian. I was in Nijmegen for a conference and arrived exhausted, but someone immediately offered to help carry my suitcase to the second floor. My room was fine, clean and tidy. I only came back to sleep and really wish I'd had more time to enjoy the hotel's great atmosphere, maybe grab a bite or a drink downstairs. Next time!

It used to be a lot better. Since the new owner, it seems to have lost quality. Several dishes weren't good, and we had to ask for things more than once. When they made a mistake, the item was still on the bill. Everything also feels pretty expensive.

The staff were super friendly, the restaurant was quirky and cool with a living-room feel, and the food was nice. But our room was incredibly cold, around 12-14C by our estimate, and the heater was far too weak. The shower curtain was missing too. We won't come back in winter. (Edit, one week later: the flu and 38C fever are over now.)

We arrived, sat down to finish checking in, and were offered complimentary drinks. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the atmosphere cozy. We stayed for dinner and really enjoyed the food. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan choices, and the veggie burger was one of the best I've ever had.

The bed was super comfortable, and the young staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the start. We got a complimentary welcome drink, and the included breakfast was well worth it. The bathroom was perfect, though the sleeping area was a bit beat up and the walls, doors and paint could use some attention. Still, we had a great stay.
