Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Mooi Veluwe

The small sink was ridiculous. I soaked the bathroom every time I brushed my teeth or washed my face. Still, the rest of the room was great. I stayed five days and found the single room quiet and cosy, with a design I really liked. The bed was soft and comfortable, and it was the first shower on my travels that kept the water from flooding the room. Ground floor rooms have a terrace, though I didn’t use mine. I had a good breakfast and enjoyed a meal at the restaurant on my first day. The staff were friendly and spoke Dutch and English, and sometimes German. Prices were good, and the forest setting was a lovely place to relax. If I can get Defqon1 tickets again, I’ll come back. Our room was dated, noisy, and had no air conditioning. In the middle of the night, strangers were on our terrace talking and drinking beer. Breakfast was basic, and the place generally didn’t feel clean.

The scenery is the best part, and it was quiet there. The rooms were okay, but the price felt high, especially since breakfast wasn’t included. For regular food, I’d suggest New Life Eaten and dranken place, a few kilometres away.

The room was a decent size, with a little terrace opening onto the garden. The bed and duvet were very comfortable, and the shower room was clean and worked well. It’s a modest hotel in the woods, and the public areas were pleasant. The TV and internet were good. Carpets and furnishings looked worn, though the room was generally fine. Breakfast had plenty of variety, but the eggs and bacon were cold. It was very quiet, and the staff were helpful and nice. Despite those few downsides, I’d come back.
